Sorry, no.

Doesnt improve with time, doesn't inspire nostalgia. Fine for luvvies to croon but, really, it's pretty bad. James Mason, totally wasted, Helen Mirren, well, useful start for publicity but sad that the film is just complete rubbish. Over the top 'let's be character' parts, gosh, aren't we amusing/funny/affectionately weird/irritating for supporting actors.

Exotic location (should have been Scotland) but don't go there.

One seat already cracked on arrival, another cracked under pressure of tightening a nut. But the really frustrating and annoying feature is the mean instruction booklet. Misleading diagrams, no colour to keep printing cheap (but some metal bars in orange, not mentioned in the instructions), many bolts of nearly similar length but having to be measured to find which are which, diagrams so poorly drawn and lacking in so much detail that you can assemble pieces that you will be dis-assembling later when nothing fits. There are better ways of spending a weekend, such as putting your head in a bucket for a day, than assembling this.
Much better to go to the park.

But the annoying and irritating aspect has nothing to do with the quality of the image. It's the switch for powering up. It's silly, bad design. You have to run your finger underneath the bottom edge to find it (the image in front of the bottom edge of the screen is barely visible) and even then you can miss it several times, pressing all the time before there is a response.

Someone took a daft decision here for no discernible result. It may be hidden, if that IS the point, but… Read more
