Variations On Swing ~ Meet Me In St. Louis
Variations On Swing ~ Meet Me In St. Louis
Sure its been done before.
sure it was redorded and produced in america.
and sure it kicks ass.
This band don't seem to mess about.
they've got an album that is not instantly accessible.
some tracks sound positively weak on first listen. yet that is
their beauty.
A rewarding album, similar in vain to early YCNI:M or a light Mars Volta.
No clear structure can mean a concentrated listen is more adviced than simply to have it playing as background noise.
Buy it if you like forward thinking british music, with bad ass flavourings and little moments of genius thrown in for fun.

5.0 out of 5 stars R.I.P the 'fold, 8 May 2006
25 quality tracks for less than a tenner. this band parted company last october, and this cd was a parting gift to their fans. twofold were a tri-vocaled hard working british bands with bagfuls of talent and fistful of solid tunes. this cd is well worth the money if you have ever seen twofold live. or for fans of bands like reuben and hell is for heroes. Sad to know there will be no more new twofold music. its just a potential after all.

I HAVE NEVER HEARD A BAD REUBEN SONG. On this album fall of the bastille is a lovely beast, stuck in my throat, the lyrics are… Read more
