Ive used this book as a starting point for D.T as the combination of colour and texture is a must. As a story this book offers lots of interesting information about how some fishes lay their eggs and it is the father who looks after them.

I've read this story to Year 1's and we have had a blast working out what could happen next. As a tool for developing language this one is a must.

Fab resource to support mathematics. I use it to support understanding of odd and even, tens and units as well as adding and subtracting. Whilst this resource supports children with learning difficulties I use it in a classroom in a mainstream school. To any parent who is trying to support their children at home I would recommend this kit, it is so tactile and visual. It may seem 'quirky' to us traditional mathematician but I think it definitely supports children visually and gives them something tangible to work with as they begin to recognise that a 5 is red and then begin to think about the number in terms of its shape.
