Thought I would like this, the premise appealed, but was sadly disappointed.
Found the characters shallow and stereotypical, the writing didn't flow well at all and it was hard to make sense of it, the plot and the things they said. Found myself skipping through the boring parts of which there were too many.

Would have liked Jake to have been more alpha male throughout. In the last part of the book he changed becoming considerably weaker, and this wasn't as attractive. Also Trudy was too stubborn and wouldnt commit untill the very end, whereas if you truly love someone don't you stick with them through thick and thin?
