Freight Train and Other North Carolina Folk Songs &hellip ~ Elizabeth Cotten
I can play a couple of these but didn't realise Elizabeth Cotton had recorded them.

I just love this album. You should read about the life of the woman - a really interesting and sad story. Please don't be put off by some of the vocals - remember she recorded these in her 70's! I just love the woman and I bet The Lord (if you believe in him) had a big smile on his face when Elizabeth Cotton got to the pearly gates singing "When I get home" - it certainly made me cry and smile at the same time.

If you are a music lover you really owe it to yourself to listen to this.

I found this good for the price. My only concern is that I had to buy a 12V rail extension lead (about £2 delivered, on a popular auction site) as the lead for that was not long enough (You know, the square type connector near the CPU socket?). It might be ok depending on where this is placed on your motherboard, but I wanted to bring that cable round the back to tidy it (more tidy, better airflow).

It is reasonably quiet, but not quiet enough for a totally silent PC build. I have mine in my bedroom PC which is for some gaming (Asus 6950 DCII), but mostly watching movies. I can hear a slight hum, but not enough to annoy me and I think it fine for a media player.

TeckNet LM305 2.4G Nano Cordless Optical Mouse - 2&hellip by TeckNet
This is a good mouse and I actually use it now in preference to my microsoft mouse as it fits better in the hand.

It has three resolutions, meaning you can click a button on the top and it gets more sensitive, cycling through the three resolutions. This is really useful and makes it a good FPS and photoshop mouse.

It takes one AA battery which, despite the power saving, seems to run out about once every couple of weeks (niggle No. 1 - but I use rechargeable batteries).

Also, it doesn't do so well on grained or patterned surfaces. It's not bad, but just has a slight drift, which can be annoying.

So, overall I am happy. If I was getting a mouse to… Read more
