3.0 out of 5 stars A good easy read, 7 Nov 2011
I was brought this book through a family member and had heard about it when it was reviewed at the magazine I worked for. To start I enjoyed it but there were several annoying moments that could be so easily rectifyed. Firstly, this book could have done with a good proof read. There are many eeek! moments when a capital letter is found ending or within a word. Secondly, there are occasional grammatical errors - but only occasionally. I am being picky.
Now for the plot - as I said, I enjoyed it. Unfortunately for me I had already guessed the books surprise twist - not the authors fault. It is a good twist. The story follows Aiden Connelly, an attorney who had relocated his family from… Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastically strange, 3 Oct 2010
Be under no illusions that this book is strange. And by strange, I mean fantastic! In a world of stories that are relatively the same, just with differing names, there is no other story like this. And that's a good thing. I don't want to read yet another vampire novel, or boy meets girl and 'will they get together' story? I wanted to read something completely different, and this is a book that delivers. Just as the title suggests it's all about a girl who discovers that she is slowly turning to glass. Trixie Guinea Pig Harness And Lead Set With Motif by Trixie

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy!, 26 July 2009
As someone who has raised and rescued guinea pigs for nearly 15 years, I recommend that you do not touch these harnesses with a barge pole. Guinea pigs are not designed to be dragged around on a lead. They can get tired really easily and need to be given the freedom to rest. The best thing is to buy them a bigger run, if you think they're not getting enough exercise.
