Delphi Complete Works of O. Henry (Illustrated) by O. HENRY
This collection is wonderful. I am not tied to any particular illustrated editions of O.Henry, just the text of the stories: and here they all are. I have long been a fan, and am delighted to find that in a few months I have got to the end and can start again at the beginning.
Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer
Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer
The text of the tales, well presented. Navigation between sections not too difficult. There are helpful glosses for the meanings of some of the more difficult words and phrases; the major flaw is that they appear undifferentiated at the end of the line, so one can't see where the text of each line ends and the gloss begins. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.
Iliad, Odyssey, Aeneid, Oedipus, Jason and the Arg&hellip by Homer
Amazingly large collection of classics in translation, including some of the less well-known works. Navigation is sometimes poor, and footnotes may just have to be viewed at the end of each section rather than with their text. Very good value at the price.
