Far From Home by Joy Bounds
Far From Home by Joy Bounds
Joy Bounds tells a fascinating story of Joan of Arc, from the viewpoint of her mother Zabillet. The book draws you into the lives of French peasants during the Hundred Years' War and shows how a young girl comes to lead the French army to several victories, how she is put on trial for heresy and burned at the stake, and how her mother helps to clear her name years later.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book. The writing is so touching and atmospheric - the book is simply wonderful!

The authors are very skilled at stirring your emotions - I lost count on how many times I felt a lump in my throat and had to reach for tissues...

I very much recommend this book!

Keeping this in mind and following his suggestions on how to do this will empower you and help you to be in charge of your writing (and other areas of) life… Read more
