OCR A2 Geography Student Book with LiveText by Jane Dove
1.0 out of 5 stars This book is awful, 23 Mar 2014
Using this book alone, for Climatic Hazards especially, is confusing and is nowhere near enough to get a good grade - I have been achieving A* and A grades in mock exams (don't know about the real thing yet but fingers crossed!) using journal articles, online articles, a couple of other books and documentaries. Refer to this as last minute revision or to 'top-up' knowledge, don't expect it to be enough to get a good grade. The format is annoying and confusing and there is so little information on topics that could constitute up to 1/3 of your exam grade!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!, 21 Jan 2012
This has become one of my favourite books now, it is a heart-warming story, and from the beginning I truly cared about the characters; it was amazing and it made me think too.

A beautifully crafted tale about the supernatural, that I really did not want to put down.

This novel started off OK, and you could see hints of all the vampire books it was mocking. The middle was incredible, really got you involved in the story - but it was just a little too much mocking for me. I think instead of using a random unicorn it could have been cool to play on the werewolf/vampire rivalry other books show.

It was funny though, and was a nice easy reading story!
