My first R6300 was DOA. Tried all sorts but it had to go back.
My second "worked". This is how you should define "working" in Netgear world:
* Communicates with a modem for weeks, then refuses to.
* Has very poor range. This is then "fixed" by the beamforming firmware, which trashes network speed. Netgear now suggest that poor speed/bad pings should be met by returning to the old pre-beamforming firmware.
* After a while mine refused to accept any firmware updates. Then wireless clients were being disconnected. Then it refused to communicate with the modem.
