Firstly, I've just discovered that this will not run on a computer unless you buy some overly expensive 3rd party video player. Secondly, I've just read that this particular version has been cut.

I wanted the definitive version of this movie, and not only can't I play it on my computer, I can't watch the whole movie as it was originally meant to be seen.

Of course I still couldn't bring myself to rate this with only 1 star because I know the Terminator is an awesome film. But this as a product is pretty disgraceful.

I almost abandoned this book numerous times throughout the first half. I've read three other Harry Hole books leading up to this one, but found Phantom was very tedious and only improves in the second half.

The problem I had is that I don't enjoy the Rakel and Oleg characters, how they seemingly turn up just to interfere and derail stories/relationships like they did in The Snowman or The Leopard. This story is entirely about those two characters, in particular Oleg, and I found the experience of reading it was a chore.

However, the worst element of the Phantom is not Rakel or Oleg; it's a character called Gusto who's thoughts form the bulk-load of the story, a bit… Read more
