Split Second by Cath Staincliffe

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellant Book, 4 Oct 2013
Staincliffe really captures the emotions of the characters and you feel like your going through the 'ordeal' with them.
This would make a great movie - it would be an oscar winner for sure.

Firstly, I finished this book about a month ago so Im writing this review based on what I can remember.
Its a good tale, told in first person narrative, it describes some of the horrors of war (and Billy's life) but simply from the perspective of an
observer - Vonnegut doesn't really explicitly say if an event is good or bad its just what Billy Pilgrim saw.
I liked the bits with the aliens especially how he describes their perspective of time.
