Seasonal Suicide Notes: My Life as it is Lived by Roger Lewis

I bought this book based on the description, especially because of the quoted reviews and I expected it to be an extremely funny book. I could not laugh at 95% of the jokes/funny scenes he wrote about. I guess this kind of humor is not for everybody. It could also be that I am just not educated to an high enough level to understand all the references he is making.
It is not a bad book but it is definitely directed at a specific audience.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great series!!!, 7 April 2010
Band of Brothers reminded me of the snippets of stories I remembered being told about by my grandfather when I was a kid and I could never put it into context until I watched this. This emotionally very intense series shows the ups and downs of the soldiers during the time of war and is not hiding any details no matter how ugly they may seem. It is not for the faint hearted but most definitely worth watching. Once I started I had to watch it all the way to the end. One feels like being right there with the soldiers and it does not glorify the war in any way.
Life Season 2 [DVD] DVD ~ Damian Lewis
Life Season 2 [DVD] DVD ~ Damian Lewis
Another season of a great detective series with Damian Lewis and Sarah Shahi in the lead roles. Still following the "Way of Zen" as his source of calmness and self discipline the series is no less interesting to watch than season one. Unfortunately this is the last season but it just keeps getting better and better!
