Ultimate Performance Elastic Laces - Black Ultimate Performance
The problem with normal training show laces for me is that they can be very difficult to get tied at the right tension. Part of the reason for this is that your feet can change size when you do sports (my sport is running). Get them just right when you start out and they can be way too tight after an hour. The second problem can be that you really should untie them before removing your shoes to avoid injury and stretching your training shoe. After a half-marathon, just getting my shoes off my feet ranks pretty high on my list of priorities.

Like several other reviewers here I have experienced unpredictable readings using my Garmin soft strap that I got with my Garmin Forerunner 910XT GPS Watch with Premium Heart Rate Monitor. My Garmin device would frequently report a hear rate of over 220 bpm and I'm quite sure that if that was my actual heart rate I'd have noticed some symptoms, maybe even experienced what the inside of an ambulance looks like.
