5.0 out of 5 stars TYPE O' ON TOP FORM, 25 May 2003
Peter and the boys are back with their 6th studio album. Unlike 'World Coming Down' the bands last effort, 'Life Is Killing Me' has more of a mixture of songs, some punky, a few old slow classics and the up beat mid tempo ones. You can expect the songs to reach over the 5 minute mark and for Peter to chant and sing about love and death like on most TON albums and with 15 songs without any joke tracks you defiantly get your moneys worth. You may notice on a few tracks that a sitar is used, like on the last track of 'Bloody Kisses'which adds some variety to the mix. Tracks to look out for Anesthesia, Todd's Ship Gods, I like Goils, Nettie and IYDKMIGTHTKY.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good, 7 Aug 2002
Hi,
I recently borrowed Filter's last album and I thought it was wicked the way it was really heavy while also using electronic drums and things. So I thought I'd buy The Amalgamut also after hearing the new single from it 'Where Do We Go From Here'. When hearing the first 7 songs I thought it was really good, on every one of those songs the choruses are so up lifting and full of energy. From songs 8 to 12 you have to listen to them a couple to get use to them because they dont seem as catchy as the first 7. One song really wierd is the '4th' the last song on the cd it's just like 8 mins of really wierd sounds and stuff.
Overall it's a decent album none the less, not as good… Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars What can I say, 22 Aug 2001
This greatest hits cd of aic has all the classic songs on it from the first aic cd to the last aic cd. You dont get that many songs on the cd, but all the tracks on it are great. There are so many amazing songs they could of added, but lets think all of aic songs are wicked. My favorite songs on the album are No Excuses, Would?, Angry Chair, Them Bones and not forgetting the ultimate classic Rooster. If your wondering why I gave this four stars its because I beleive they should have had more tracks on it. What to look for a real aic greatest hits then I suggest you buy the aic music bank box set.
