Aviation Law and Meteorology (Air Pilot's Manual) by Trevor Thom

Having completed my Aviation Law exam, I can say in complete faith that Trevor Thom's Aviation Law and Meteorology covers everything! It got me through 100% (except for the PPL Confuser's job of testing at the end of my revision...) and, although you have to read every word to get all the required information, you shouldn't find a question coming up which you know nothing about. Definitely worth buying!
The Two of Us: My Life with John Thaw by Sheila Hancock

Any book about the life of John Thaw was almost guaranteed to be a good read- such an inspirational actor, especially to those of us hoping to make it in the business, and a real national treasure. But what makes this even better is the realism and the raw emotion with which Sheila Hancock writes. This, along with that of Joanna Lumley, is the best autobiography I've read. Well recommended.

I read The Year the Gypsies Came quite a while before it was published, and I did wonder what sort of an impact it would have on the Teens' and Adults' fiction market. Unfortunately, and certainly not to its credit, it doesn't seem to have had much. The Year the Gypsies Came is definitely worth a try- it's very emotive and it certainly makes you appreciate what you've got.
