..... those that hark on about the old stuff being true punk and those who know musical evolution when they hear it.

I bought the special edition CD which is a rough looking hardback graffiti art lyric book. Very impressive

As to the album I think American Idiot makes for a better live show, but the new album is definitely a better story and a better arranged album. There is more experiment in the songs, although a couple do sound like they have borrowed some ideas from the Warning album. I wait to see what the O2 show holds, but it may lend more to a rock opera stage show perhaps.

Reading the other reviews here below may lead to confusion about whether one or any of these films are any good.

So I hope this cuts through to the chase.

Cube 1

is excellent - you will be on the edge of your seat watching the characters negotiate the maze of rooms and traps and you also be intrigued by the social debate and relationship between them all. Cube 1 is a great film and an interesting part is the discussion about the nature of the Cube and the notion that the "great conspiracy is that there is no conspiracy, it is just a load of small groups all working on their own small bit that is later used by someone else - because it is there."… Read more

I wrote a review about Love Honour and Obey also.
Both of these film got worst movie of their year, and I really don't know why. I do not intend to compare this film to Ghandi or Lord of the Rings, but this is very brave cinema. Parts are improvised and way each of the friends gets shafted is very funny. Ray Winston is stunningly angry. There is no way this is the worst film ever. Even if I could see why people don't like it, which I don't, I would never say this is the worst film. There is nothing wrong with the acting and I say this because sometimes in real life the way people talk makes me cringe.
