I thought this was very well written and enjoyed in thoroughly.
Only criticism was the supposed speed by which people turned into vicious murderers after the "lights went out".
I can imagine some descent into barbarity after a while, but this seemed to envisage it taking days whereas I'd have thought it'd take some time for food stores to dissipate and things to go pear shaped. Also, what about bicycles? There was no thought to police getting about by bike, which would have been very sustainable and sensible. Still, I may be wrong - there's that old saying about us being one meal away from barbarism so maybe it's true!
Either way this is a good book and I'd recommend.
