Fantastic. Great never read before insights, facts. I thought I knew a lot about the Roses - no I didn't!! Great timing as well coinciding with the resurrection of the band and the world tour. Saw them before they split in 95 minus rein. Saw them again last month after reading this, with rein behind the skins. This book really put me in the mood. What a great read! Buy it!

Recently read Gated so I thought I'd give this a try. I liked Gated (has some flaws but it was good nonetheless) but I think I like(d) this more. I sometimes have issues with short stories but these were just the right length and with the right amount of detail (for me) to enable me to get 'in' the story with the characters. Some really nice moments. a few stories seem to flow better than others but overall I think both this and Gated show great promise. I really liked the serial killer story at the end, and the blind mice one (pretty nasty). The story about the voice inside stayed with me a long time after I'd read it (read it on the bus going to work and it put me right off my muffin!!)… Read more

A good solid read. Some errors but it's a self published book with a small price tag. Good offering Mr Drabble. Keep on going. I recently read Asylum and I liked that more I think, so I'll be leaving a review for you soon for that one. I love seeing people having a go. It takes a long time to write something like this. Run on sentences really get up people's noses, but let's praise him for a well told story with some very nasty characters. Keep up the good work. I look forward to discovering more works by you and watching you grow.
