The SS-Sonderkommando ""Dirlewanger"": A Memoir by Rolf Michaelis

This is probably one of the most important documents covering the operations of this intrigueing and controversial unit, given as it is from a first hand eye witness account. However, the price of this slim volume and the poor standard of reproduction of the illustrations leaves a lot to be desired and if I had seen it while browsing in a book shop, I definitely would not have bought it.
Yeadon Register of LNER Locomotives: Class 04/6 to&hellip by Willie B. Yeadon
Very comprehensive cover of the rebuilt versions of the famous ex Great Central ROD Locos, with a good photographic illustrations provided of most members of the various sub classes, which should prove excellent for modelling purposes. I particularly liked the historical and operational description of each sub class at the front of the book.
Men-at-Arms 447: The Czech Legion 1914-20 (Men-at-&hellip by David Bullock
3.0 out of 5 stars The Czech Legion., 21 May 2013
I am very interested in this period of history, but found this book very much an over view of the Czech Legion and its exploits at the end of WW1. I would have liked to have seen much more comprehensive cover of the Admiral Kolchak episode for instance.
