5.0 out of 5 stars The Fin-ished Article, 2 Mar 2008
The Station Agent is an enjoyable film - well made and well acted. It is full of jokes but also quite emotional, set in rural New Jersey. Fin inherits a station depot from his friend Henry and goes to live there as he is interested in trains and wants to move away from the city where he is treated badly, making him withdrawn. Reluctantly, he gets to know Joe, a friendly thirty year-old who works in his dad's snack-truck and Olivia, who is coping with the death of her young son. The three of them often socialise and Fin also sees Emily, who works at the library and Cleo, a young girl who shares an interest in trains. The film is worth watching if you haven't already seen it and buying if you… Read more

There's Something About Mary is one of the funniest films of its kind and you have to admire how well it was made. Directed by the Farrelly Brothers and starring Ben Stiller, Cameron Diaz, Matt Dillon, Chris Elliott, Lee Evans and Brett Favre; There's Something About Mary starts off in 1985 in Rhode Island where Ted (Ben Stiller) and Mary (Cameron Diaz) are teenagers. After 20 minutes or so, it goes to the present day where Ted hires Pat Healy (Matt Dillon) to track down Mary in Miami. Full of funny moments such as 'the hair gel scene' and the 'zipper scene', There's Something About Mary will keep you laughing throughout.
