5.0 out of 5 stars Faux throw, 19 Dec 2012
Having just had my sofa recovered at considerable expense, I had the problem of my Cocker Spaniel who has been used to sitting on the sofa with us for 10 years. Trying to explain to him that his place might be better on the floor didn't seem to wash with him, and anyway I'd miss him. The answer was this wonderful throw, which is comfortable, (the dog will vouch for that), big and doesn't look out of place on my precious sofa. I liked it so much I bought one for my bed. The dog heartily approved.
The delivery was super-fast, so can highly recommend.

I came upon this book over twenty years ago. I was fascinated by the wonderful illustrations to start with. I read it to my son who was very young at the time. I read and re-read it many times and we both enjoyed it. I'm not sure if either of us entirely understood some of it to begin with. It became such a favourite with my son that it went with him when he left home. I must ask him if it ever gave him nightmares. Somehow I don't think it did. A treasure to be read again and again.

At last, the longed for latest Dexter has arrived. Disappointed? No. As usual Jeff Lindsay has come up with something new to keep us tantalised to the very end.

Dexter's old enemy, Doakes, is still there clanking in the background, determined to nail Dexter for something, anything. Brian is still there to make us wonder what he is up to and what he wants from Dexter and his cosy little family.

Jeff Lindsay always delivers the goods. We get an excellent story studded with Dexter's wry and amusing observations. There are laugh out loud comments put into Dexter's mouth by the very witty Mr. Lindsay.

How does he do it? Who cares. Just keep them coming for the… Read more
