Ok it wont win originality awards ( almost Sliding Doors like without the fantasy !) and its Islington set gooey but I had just experienced the day from hell when I watched this on TV and you know what ? I went to bed feeling that life was great. Cant say fairer than that .Its certainly far less cliched than say anything Richard Curtis has written in 20 years.

Unlike some reviewers I found it well paced - there isnt a word wasted and there is a real chemistry between the leads. Emma's Mum's sub plot is fun and great to see James Brolin in there - he doesn't have to leave first gear for the role he has but he is still class.

I have nothing to add to the other two reviews other than to agree wholeheartedly. This is a genuinley uplifting film and one that will stay with you for a very long time. Mixing real footage and drama can be tricky but the beautiful cinematography pulls it off.

All music players have controls on the front -so this comment would apply to all players on Amazon ! Is in fact what you are saying - are the controls too easy to change? No they are not - this device has the most secure ( i.e. it takes a proper press ) transport controls ( as we cassette heads used to called them ) to change tracks I have ever known . Far better than Sony Apple and indeed other Philips devices I have owned . I am partially deaf in one ear and have a moderate hearing loss in the other . I never turn my Go Gear up… Read more
