This is a great collection of short stories, that really leaps across the fantasy and sci-fi genres. There are some that show a touch of Gaimen, of Walter Mosley, Stephen King, and many others, but the book always remains distinctively Thorne's. His imagination is matched by his strong writing voice.

I enjoyed every story in this, and it never gets boring, as the settings and tone keep varying, from cosmic to horror, to more hard sci-fi.

I completely recommend this book, you are going to enjoy it.

It's a very open and honest look at how two guys with a creative vision, talent and a great work ethic that puts Marvel and DC to shame decided to make some comics that were fun, intelligent and gorgeous (revolutionary, I know!).

If you're at all involved in the comics industry, it's a must-read, even if your involvement is just wishful thinking at the moment. If you just like entertainingly-written entertainment, it's a must-read, and if you like great visual art, it is also a must-read.

Geoff and Todd are definitely people to… Read more
