1.0 out of 5 stars boring, 18 Sep 2012
Slow and dull. Not one moderately catchy song. Cant understand all the positive reviews. Seriously dreary. His first album was fun, great mix of uptempo songs and ballads. Seems like the law of diminishing returns is in full effect.
GHV2 (Greatest Hits Volume 2) ~ Madonna

Where is: "You'll See"? "Rain"? "I'll remember"? "This Used To Be My Playground"? "Bad Girl"? I'm sorry, yes GVH2 is a decent collection of Madonna tracks, but the omission of these, some of her biggest (and arguabley best) 90s tracks, is a crime for long time Madonna fans. I know she's been trying to make us forget for about 4 years now, but Madonna's wasn't always about cool European DJ's mixing songs on sprituality and inner peace. As a collection of her 90s greatest hits, this package really falls short.

Halmsteads Parlour ~ Gyllene Tider

An excellent compilation of Gyllene Tider's greatest hits. For those who don't know, Per Gessle writes/sings for Gyllene Tider when he's not doing the same with Roxette. The music is slightly harder than Roxette (sort of Police-ish), but the catchy choruses and bouncy guitar hooks are all there. There's some real gems on this album that are guarenteed to have you hooked from the opening bars. Forget the fact that it's in Swedish, if you're a fan of Roxette this is a must have.
