It is as if Mel is sitting down next to you revealing her life story, so make yourself comfy, sit back and enjoy! The story itself is one that will inspire you but may also scare you. However, if you have the backbone of the author you have every reason for optimism regards your future. The book is a warning that in your life journey, you need to be on the look-out for the controllers and sociopaths amongst us. This book is the best I've read on the subject. Others explain the need to model business events and processes, but lack the practical approach of this book. It is also unique (in my experience) because it aligns business analysis and technical aspects so intuitively, providing the right level of detail to understand the importance of an Agile and collaborative approach to dimensional modelling. It is an easy technical read as it carefully threads the business scenarios back to the required technical solutions.
