My 8 year old girl sat on the sofa and read this book almost from cover to cover in 1 read. This was a first for a girl who likes having stories read to her but rarely reads for enjoyment herself. We already knew how entertaining Kjartan Poskitt's writting was from the fabulous Murderous Maths series, I mean anyone who can get children reading books about maths must be gifted!! We've since bought the sequel which was also devoured by daughter and have just ordered the third.
