First of all the price is what sticks out, £15 for macro filters, In general I'd rather not use extra filters as adding more glass almost always means a lower finished picture quality but these do the job well and only cause a very small amount of distortion.
As they're filters there's no need to constantly change lens as you would with extensions.
I'd honestly recommend going down the extension tubes route if you're really interested in macro photography but if you'd rather only looking to have a little play then you can't go wrong.
