Beach Angel 3 ~ Fierce Angel Presents
Beach Angel 3 ~ Fierce Angel Presents
This year's Beach Angel release sees Mark digging deep in the vaults for almost three cds worth of classic Beach anthems. That's fair enough if you're new to the whole Fierce Angel series but for those who own most of the summer cds from FIERCE ANGEL/HED KANDI there is no point in purchasing this compilation.

Yes, some of the tunes are fantastic, I did really enjoy CD 1 especially the Barbara Mendes track (sweet), but CD 2 & 3 didn't really appeal to me for some reason.

This album could have been so much better had a bit more forethought and effort gone in to including up and coming artists and tracks. There is a wealth of deep & latin house out at the moment and it's… Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars SUSHI SO GOOD!, 4 April 2008
Well, what can I say, only this is the best Sushi album out for a while!
It is jampacked full of quality productions from the likes of Sunburst Band, Miguel Migs, Danism, Jill Scott, Kimara Lovelace & Richard Earnshaw.

Anyone looking for the twisted sound of earlier sushi albums (Sashimi...ahem) will have to look elsewhere, as this is purely for people who enjoy the more soulful side of House.

Version 12 (already, can you believe it?!) is an essential release! BUY NOW!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Back To 3 Stars, 11 Oct 2006
The previous release in the Back To Love series was a closing of the chapter from '89-'91 and it was an amazing finish to that era and so I was excited to see what 92-96 classics featured on the next instalment. I was neither blown away or horrified by this selection for the simple reason that the album is predictable and safe.

On disc one you have the beautiful vocals of Barbara Tucker with 'Beautiful People'. From there, there are sure-fire classics from Kim English, De'Lacy, Lovetribe, Bucketheads and Basement Jaxx.

Disc two includes some of my personal classics from Njoi, My Friend Sam and after months of trying to find 'Perfect Motion' in it's entirity it ends up… Read more
