I really enjoyed this book, the first I have read after a year's hiatus having twin girls. It is clever, plugged in and funny. "Laugh-out-loud", is often mentioned in reviews, but I've never got it from a book, till now. For me, Ms Moran captures the feminist Zeitgeist perfectly. She is my age and switched on. I like her turn of phrase, her irreverence and her intellect. The reason for 4 stars, rather than 5, is that the books starts well, but then loses a bit of steam towards the end. A lot of what she says chimes with me, similar experiences and challenges of being a teenage girl clamouring towards womanhood, but other things really jar and I completely disagree with her. This is alright, the caps are hard to get on and off, but they go in the dishwasher and babies seem to like them
