This thoroughly enjoyable book is well structured, covering the wide range and scope of philosophical discourse. I would recommend it to those with a general interest in philosophy. The book begins by asking "what good is metaphilosophy?" and ends by asking "what good is philosophy?" I found the discussion of whether philosophy is continuous with science of most interest, together with the discussion of intuition scepticism. One of the chapters explores the origins of the split between the analytic and continental traditions.
