Well, I've now confirmed that I want a hard copy of this book very badly indeed... I am vegetarian, but have a meat eating family and every single recipe is exquisitely designed to make me want to rush out and buy the ingredients NOW.

Such a ravishing and sensual collection of enticing gorgeousness... The kind of recipes which just scream "don't let your children grow up without having tasted this!" and "why don't you have some friends over so you have an excuse to make this?"

So having established that this is in fact a book of manna, I'm going to have to go and buy the hard back because I just have to tick off recipes when I've made them and put in my own oven… Read more

I grew up with Mog and had forgotten how delightful these stories and illustrations are. Lovely for pre school children and those just starting to read.

I hate books that finish on a cliff hanger. Having said that, this is fabulously complex and engaging. Reminiscent of Lois McMaster Bujold, without the sense of humour.
