I admit I downloaded this book just because it had Provence in the title and I had never read anything by the author before. It was not long after I had commenced reading it that I realised it was probably aimed at a female audience! However even at 60 years of age I have long realised that I will never really know all about how women think so I thought I'd carry on and see if I could learn more and anyway my wife's Kindle app picks up my books as well as her own. I enjoyed the book, it was enlightening, entertaining and could act as a guide to good places to explore in the Provence region. I enjoyed this book very much. The detail and humour is such that it could only have been written by someone who has been their and done it, and all the better for it. I was recommended this author by Mike McNeff, another ex cop who writes great books. I will buy and read all Wayne's books as I do Mike's

It would seem that this book has been written by someone who has been there, done that and got the T shirt to prove it. If only all operations had such "lucky people" involved
