Thomas Hoepker: DDR Views: DDR Ansichten by Biemann Wolf	A brilliant portrait, 21 Mar 2012 A fantastic set of images from the former DDR. Thomas Hoepker is a magnum photographer with a long and distinguished career.

Iraq a Country Study by Helen Chapin Metz	Comprehensive, 21 Mar 2012 A good book, which is best at explaining the history of Iraq up until 1988. A little disappointing that the latest edition didn't re-work some of the chapters to take into account the political events from 1989 onwards.
