After 4 years away from the screen (and failed attempts at making a feature film) Jack finally returns in a shorter story (taking place largely over 12 hours instead of 24).

President Heller is in danger in London & Bauer surfaces to save him. But things in this show have never been that simple. The usual twists, developments, & edge of the seat drama seem far more logical and intriguing thanks to the tighter, shorter, faster pace of the 12 episode run.

New strong characters emerge, particularly Kate, a female agent with similarities to Bauer & a possible future lead character should Jack ever leave these dark days behind him.

Following 2010's 'Michael' comes the second posthumous release from the estate of Michael Jackson. The Great War - BBC Series 6 Disc Boxset [DVD] DVD ~ michael redgrave

The BBC's 1960's great war series is to the first world war what ITV's the world at war is to the second. With hours of archive footage, more than any other series I've seen & interviews with those who fought in it a series like this could obviously no longer be made in the 21st century. I can't see why this is so rare to find when the world at war is far more common but if you can find it then buy it. This is unmissable.
