This film tells the remarkable true story of the Dutch Ten Boom family, who forgot their business and helped Dutch Jewish families escape and live in war-torn Holland in perhaps the most dark days of the last century. Deported to concentration camps, they are treated like Jews, but their faith in Christ and their love for the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and His for them sees them through their darkest hours. A truly emotional and life changing movieHiding Place [DVD] [2005] [Region 2]

This collection of papers addresses a wide range of research topics across the corpus of medieval monastic studies, both male and female. It is a must for all students, researchers and public interested in this subject.

Of particular interest are the papers dealing with hospitality, local community rather than religious community and education, as well as the rise of later orders and their impact on the more established patterns.
