Accidents Waiting to Happen by Simon Wood
I bought this book because it was part of an Amazon promotion but I'll definitely be seeking out more work by this author and I won't mind paying full price.

The story was fast paced, very well constructed and kept me clicking that page turn button well into the night. The descriptive writing left you in no doubt of what the author was wanting you to see and apart from maybe wanting to give his wife a shake from time to time, all the characters were full of life and ...well ... character!

If you like a fast moving thriller, this is not to be missed

5.0 out of 5 stars Top quality, 8 May 2014
It won't win any beauty pagents but it's a fantastically strong, easy to assemble table that folds up neatly when not needed.Throw a table cloth over it and it will pass muster in pretty much every situation.

Delivery was also first class, arrived in a couple of days, well packaged and damage-free

The way it unfolded wasn't as 'believable' as the earlier part of the book and I kept asking myself questions like "How come no one else in the village has noticed this, considering how he could hardly blow his nose a few pages back without drawing a crowd?"

Some parts of it were amazing - the cat in the undertakers was inspired and this is why I've given it a 3. If it had ended the way it started it… Read more
