1.0 out of 5 stars Devils Of Bore, 19 Aug 2013
There are two good things about this dvd - the box, and the end. I suspect that it may have been produced by drunken monkeys who have somehow cobbled together rejected bits from a cutting room dust bin. If like me, you bought it on a whim because the cover reminded you of Outpost, then look for the scenes where the blonde spy Claudia is 'riding' a motorbike against the most unconvincing background since George Formby rode in the TT, while shouting 'Can ya see me Motherrrr??'. The end credits have surely used the same graphics technology as at the end of Dad's Army episodes too!! Like a few other reviewers, I got this heap of pants confused with Hansel and Gretel - Witch Hunters, and was amazed to find it on sale for around a fiver!! I was not really concentrating, as I was buying a few other dvds at the time, and just put this in the trolley alongside them. I really have nothing polite to say about this one, and ejected it after around 20 minutes of tedium. I gave it to a friend the day after, and if she watches it, then I fully expect her to come hunting for me with a meat cleaver, and I wouldn't blame her!! :D

I give it 2 stars simply because I have to admit that it made me laugh - especially since the creature's movements seem to have been directly copied from Tina Turner's stage routine :D I'm not complaining though, as I picked this film up very cheaply at a charity shop, and had pretty low expectations of it being any good - so I was not disappointed!! It's the kind of film that you can watch with your cat - just to see who jumps out of the window first!! My copy is destined to be donated back to the charity shop with best… Read more
