5.0 out of 5 stars Sob!, 20 Sep 2010
I was crying by the time the first chapter had ended. This book is very emotional, and, for a mum like me with a two year old, to imagine the same thing happening was very emotional indeed! But this True story is about a young man who overcame extreme adversity with courage and his Faith. It is very well written and leaves you with hope that life can still be fulfilling after such a horrendous accident. Joel is a role model to every child, teenager and adult, and can teach us a lot about Faith, Hope, Courage and Humour!
Waking The Witch: Number 11 in series (Otherworld) by Kelley Armstrong

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!, 20 Sep 2010
As per usual, Kelley Armstrong has surpassed herself in this latest book in her Otherworld Series. This time, the story is focused on Savannah - a young witch - who finds herself embroiled in a serial witch-hunt murder. She has the help of her friend Adam (a half demon who can incinerate anything)and a human detective, Michael. The plot is fast, but paced extremely well and is incredibly readable. Anyone who enjoys Modern Fantasy, will enjoy this story. The ending has a big twist, and I can't wait for the next one to come out!
