The Barn Dance Book: All You Need to Run, Call or &hellip by John Reay
We are planning a DIY ceilidh and this book is a good starting point. It has well explained dances alongside a simple melody line and chords. Some tunes are also written out for Bb instruments.

There is usually only one tune to each dance rather than a set but this could be elaborated on once you know what you are doing.

There are about 50 Dances, all standard ceilidh fare, carcassian circle, ninepins, dashing white sergeant. They are arranged by type of dance (couple, aquare set, long set, circle etc) and in order of difficulty.
