Used these to replace 500MB memory in a Dell 640m notebook computer.
According to the Dell website, this are the recommended memory modules for this computer. Check the website if you have a Dell and want to be sure.
Supposedly only 2GB would be compatible with the 32bit chipset. I have Ubuntu installed and it recognized 3 GB.
Performance improvement is noticeable.
Happy with these memory modules.
Good balance of price, quality, functionality.
Lid is kept closed by small magnets sown in.
Kindle Touch fits in perfectly.
Access to buttons and ports is perfect.
Material is durable enough.
I have been using it for months now without problems. Both the lid and the backing are supported by stronger material sewn in, however the spine is not, presumably to allow the lid to fold completely around. I try not to do this as it may reduce the life of the case.
Bought this for use with the 'Toshiba HDTB120EK3CA Basics 2TB USB 3.0 2.5 Inch Hard Drive' which is about 1.5 times the thickness of the 1TB drive. The drive and cable fit in snugly, though I can see that trying to squeeze in more items, like USB sticks, could become a problem.
Other than that :
Zip is strong.
On one side there is a fairly strong elastic material sewn in to hold the drive down.
On the opposite side is a pocket to put a cable.
Case material looks like it will take some punishment.
