Garmin Forerunner 220 GPS Running Watch with Colou&hellip by Garmin
Have always been using my iPhone and Nike App to track my runs, which worked really well for me.
However, with the sun shining and temperature warming up, having a phone strapped to your arm is getting a bit annoying (and sweaty)

After doing some research, I opted for this Garmin Forerunner 220 - and I really like it!

It's light on your wrist, very easy to use , with well laid out buttons to start/stop your run, and the display is clear.

As I only use the heart rate monitor occasionally, this version with monitor strap suits my needs (as opposed to the newer "strapless" version )

Quite happy with this little fridge/freezer...

I chose this one as it's the only one I could find that fitted a space with restricted height.
Too be honest, I was a bit dubious about the reliability and the Frigidaire brand overall - but I'm pleasantly surprised.

It's fairly quiet,frost free, rated A for energy use and is large enough for a small household (1-3)

If a larger/full size fridge is not an option, this one is not a bad choice.

I've been running with an iPhone(3 or 4) for over 5 years and have tried and tested a fair few of armbands - this one is the best so far.

As mentioned previously, the phone is held securely (with case!) and water/rain protection seems to be very good.

The most outstanding feature for me however, is the way the band is constructed; the velcro locks very well and the band is large enough for bulky blokes like me. I also like the little neoprene dots on the inside of the band, making sure it doesn't slip or slide down your arm.

The only criticism I would have is that the screen responsiveness is somewhat impaired by the plastic cover - but this is an issue… Read more
