Jack London's The Call Of The Wild: Dog of the Yuk&hellip DVD ~ Rutger Hauer
5.0 out of 5 stars classic film, 3 Jan 2014
This film is an absolute classic of a fabulous book. Although both quite old to younger generations both should be read and watched to see how both medium can make a classic. The book is one for every generation to return to. I first read this forty years ago and have watched the film over again. Fantastic.

This is an all time classic in it's genre. Very atmospheric and believable. It is a book I return to again and again. I never look at motorways in the same way!
The Mistletoe Bride and Other Haunting Tales by Kate Mosse

Proper ghost stories. No blood and gore, just genuine clever, atmospheric writing writing that keeps you thinking and wondering. Great to curl up with on winters night, a roaring log fire and a drink. After reading Winter Ghosts a couple of years ago I have been hooked on Kate Mosse ghost stories. There are not many who do it well, this collection is very, very good.
