Kitchen Craft A Bag For Good Shopping Bag - Two To&hellip by Kitchen Craft
5.0 out of 5 stars great for a rainy day, 24 Aug 2012
I love large tote bags as I always have books, papers and other paraphernalia to carry to work. On rainy days I would worry about how well my paper belongings and Kindle are doing if I'm carrying all that in my usual fabric tote. So I got this one. It's good looking and fun (esp. for a dull early morning) and durable. The handles do not cut into my shoulders even when the load is heavy as they are wide enough and the material is waterproof. Definitely recommend.
Little Blue and Little Yellow by Leo Lionni
The design of this book is imaginative and is likely to excite and attract a range of little readers. The story behind the original illustration is strong as well. There's hope, kindness, frienship and courage, even though the blue and the yellow are only a pair of little dots. I would definitely recommend this and many other books by Leo Lionni.

Gentle, cosy and a tid bit sad. Beautifully illustrated, a must-have. The book got a Caldecott Honor award, which initially always suggests amazingness. And it was. Made me want to get my pencils out and draw. Or just pack a bag and go to Virginia.
