I bought this coffee machine and a kettle approx 2 years ago. Both have since gone to meet their cursed maker.

The first sign off trouble with the coffee machine was the drip tray. It seems to be made out of aluminium wrapped with a very thin metallic/plastic film. Due to what could well be seen as a design flaw, the heat from the overflow of steamed water produced in the espresso process, destroyed said metallic/plastic covering and seriously damaged the metal underneath. Why? Because the thumb operated safety release on the handle is set-up for righties rather than lefties. Whilst I'm a rightie, depending on the cut needed/working position, I do occasionally use my left paw to hold tools. I noticed the same thing with a GMC planer that I bought but,… Read more
