5.0 out of 5 stars He can write, 15 April 2014
Much self-published fiction is written poorly and badly edited.
Mr Hayes can write well, develop characters and spin a plot with enough twists to keep you engrossed.
I loved both this book and the sequel, more please.

A little artificial in terms of getting to objective areas but remarkably deep in terms of tactics and strategy.
Tip 1: you move faster than they do, exploit that
Tip 2: leave it as late as possible for any player to "level up"
First Steps (Founding of the Federation Book 1) by Chris Hechtl
This author is enthusiastic and can spin a reasonable story.
However, he has no respect for his readers in that this book looks to have been done using voice recognition and a spell checker.
There is no sign that a living person has looked this over prior to publication and it is literally littered with wrong words and typos.
Mr Hechtl, for shame, this is rubbish and you can do better.
I will not be buying any more of this author's books.
