3.0 out of 5 stars Too sentimental., 5 Nov 2013
Grigolo is sticking to his usual style - he may have a good voice but I find his quivering very irritating and insincere. He always sounds as if he is crying his way through every song. Fortunately, I listened to most of the songs on this cd beforehand, saving myself from spending money on buying album.

I have played it several times now, and it has proved to be the rare kind of album that gets better and better every time. Bocelli enhralls me with his interpretation of these love songs, many of which are new to me and which include some inspired duets with Jennifer Lopez, Nelly Furtado and the late Edith Piaf.

There are few singers who can tackle Elvis Presley's music convincingly, but Bocelli can! His rendition of 'Love me Tender' is stunning, every bit as good as Elvis's own version,… Read more
