This book is an intersting account of the Womens Land Army. It is aimed at children but will also be interesting to many adults who have memories of the second world war or are interested in this subject and want simple facts and accounts. Because it is simply written it is easy to read and understand and has many interesting photographs. One of the women featured is my Dad's cousin's wife. The womens Land Army did a lot of good work in the second world war and deserve to be recognised. This would be a good book in any Primary School Library and would help children learn about life in the second world war.
