The most forward-facing, creative, imaginative album I've heard for
years. The fact that this was recorded in 1996 makes this work even more

If you are considering buying this record just buy it - you won't be
disappointed. Also, this CD will reward you for having decent sound system or
headphones but is probably too subtle for in-car listening.

My first test for this piece of kit was at this year's Silverstone Classic - lots of shiny cars under bright sunshine so plenty of opportunities for ruining shots with glare and flare. And compared to shots I took last year with the same camera, my Sony Alpha 300 there's definitely fewer glare issues. This hood has three modes of operation: 'tele'; 'standard' and 'wide'. It's well worth remembering to set to the 'wide' shape when shooting in the mode or vignetting will result. It's made from sturdy, flexible rubber so it won't bash or scratch and I guess should absorb the odd slight bump better than the brittle plastic types.
