5.0 out of 5 stars Best album?, 18 Feb 2014
I remember back in 73 when this was released to much derision by Zep fans. But I took to it immediately and it's been a favourite of mine ever since. Like 'News of the World' is to Queen and 'Abbey Road' is to The Beatles, this album shows the range and mastery of the performers.
I saw a tribute band perform the whole of this album live last year and it reinforced quite why Zep were so admired. This is a gem.

Had Leahy worked anywhere else he would probably have succeeded as he is that kind of man, but under his stewardship, the once mediocre supermarket chain has not only transformed itself, but retailing and the consumer experience in general.
In simple and good, clear and concise readable English, he tells a magnificent story. Throughout I kept thinking, 'why did no one think of that before?', to the many developments that he introduced.
A must read for anyone interested in business at any… Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars No clones here, 18 Feb 2014
I bought this on vinyl when it was released and was dismayed by all the talk of Zep clones. Like Robin Trower and the jibes about Hendrix.
Since then the tribute band market has flourished and everywhere there are clones. Some good some mediocre.
As for this album and the band, it is clear that they produced music that Zep didn't. Riff heavy, good and meaty and no folk tracks at all.
It's a shame the original line up didn't last more that the two albums as there was a rich vein to mine in this niche.
